Dr. Grayson Woods
Grayson Woods, M.D, a native Nashvillian, is a women’s healthcare expert board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Woods founded Woods Aesthetics in 2005 to meet a growing demand for women who want healthier skin. Her specialized training gives Dr. Woods unique understanding of how hormonal changes affect skin and innovative ways to combat skin care challenges. Dr. Woods graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado. She earned her medical degree from ETSU’s Quillen College of Medicine. During her training at Vanderbilt in Obstetrics and Gynecology, she served as the Chief Resident and received the Hillman Award for teaching. She serves on the affiliate medical staff of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is affiliated with St. Thomas Midtown & Baptist Ambulatory Surgical Center.
Sara Bennett, Licensed Medical Aesthetician
A native Nashvillian, Sara brings her youthful energy and eye for detail to the Woods team. A graduate of the Aveda Institute, Sara is certified in dermaplaning, HydraFacial, microneedling, customized facials, Clear + Brilliant laser resurfacing and the Rejuvenation Trio.
Valerie Derrick, Medical Aesthetician
Valerie, a native Nashvillian, has been practicing aesthetics to more than 20 years. She obtained her aesthetician license from Tennessee Technology Center and has continued her education going to numerous advanced training courses all over the US. She believes that investing in our skin and health is an investment that lasts a lifetime. Valerie is well known for her customized facials and is also skilled in chemicals peels, dermaplaning, microneedling, Hydrafacial, Thermage FLX and rejuvenation lasers.
Jemma Hurst, RN, BSN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Jemma, a native of the Nashville area, has been practicing in the area of women’s health and aesthetics for more than 18 years. She obtained a Bachelors degree in nursing from Belmont University and completed graduate nursing studies at Vanderbilt. She practiced at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for over 10 years in the high risk labor and delivery unit. While there Jemma served as unit charge nurse and participated in multiple research studies. Driven by a desire to help women feel and look their best, she decided to expand her practice to aesthetics. She has the most current and advanced training in injectables (Botox, Juvederm, Restylane, Dysport), as well as advanced laser training for hair removal, spider veins, blemishes, and facial rejuvenation.
Rondee Jones, Aesthetic Clinician
Rondee Jones brings extraordinary skill and her friendly spirit to Woods Aesthetics with over 20 years in the medical field. She has worked with Dr Woods for more than 15 years. Rondee has combined her experience as a licensed cosmetologist with her advanced training in laser hair removal and rejuvenation lasers to provide a spa like experience for our patients while receiving medical grade results. Rondee is also skilled in Thermage FLX and Hydrafacial.
Kara Tucker, ANP, Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Kara is a board certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner & Aesthetic Nurse Injector. A native Nashvillian, Kara graduated from Harpeth Hall and completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Virginia. She received her Advanced Practice degree from Vanderbilt University. Kara has worked in labor and delivery, dermatology, and has most recently practiced OB/GYN care in Hendersonville, TN. Kara has been treating women of all ages since 2013.
Britt Mims MA, RN, Aesthetic Nurse Injector
Britt, a Nashville native, is known for her warm, approachable demeanor that instantly puts clients at ease. With a keen eye for detail, Britt specializes in creating gorgeous, natural-looking results that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. She combines her extensive nursing background with advanced training in injectables and laser treatments to ensure that each procedure is tailored to meet the unique needs of her clients. Britt earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Austin Peay State University and holds a Master’s in Spanish from Middlebury College. She started her nursing career caring for critically ill patients in the ICU before transitioning her practice to aesthetics. Britt is skilled in a range of injectable treatments, including Botox, Dysport, Sculptra, and dermal fillers, as well as laser skin rejuvenation and resurfacing. When she’s not in clinic, you can find her spending time with her two French bulldogs, talking about skincare, or listening to her favorite nerdy podcasts.
Michelle Brunett, RN, BSN - Aesthetic Nurse
Michelle, a registered nurse and medical aesthetician, brings sunshine to our staff and patients on the daily with her sweet and bubbly personality. After graduating from High Point University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, she followed her passion for aesthetics and attended the Aveda Institute where she became a licensed aesthetician. Seeking to further her career in the field, she went on to earn her bachelor's degree in nursing from Marian University with the intentions of becoming an Aesthetic nurse. Michelle takes pride in helping her patients achieve their skincare goals through routine aesthetic services and quality products.
